The shoes we make are different from other shoes on the market (made by factory machines). Beyond Design: The Hidden Art of Crafting the Perfect Shoe Tree
I kept improved the shoes in all the ways every year. Because every time I release an updated version, I will stop selling the old version even though Backlogged inventory and lost a lot of money. I want to ensure my customers always receive the best and most perfect shoes. So there are mountains of defective pieces stay there that I'm not happy with. In my studio, I've made countless shoe trees, which are essentially the soul of a shoe. Picture two identical pairs of shoes—same design, same materials—but when you wear them, they feel entirely different. I always put a lot of time in developing shoe trees!

Some early September orders experienced issues such as the glue lifting slightly around the seams or the painted edge on the sole wearing away sooner than expected.
We took this seriously, very seriously!
As soon as we received these messages, our entire team participated and worked overnight to rectify the issues. You can see the before-and-after comparison in the video. Since completing these upgrades in late September, our newer batches have been performing beautifully, and we’ve received almost no similar feedback since. If you need a sign to buy these, THIS IS IT! omg my favorite pair of shoes. they are extremely comfortable, so adorable, and amazing quality. the customer service was amazing and the shipping was so fast! i would buy these over and over again. 1000000/10 definitely recommend! (ps. i say maybe go up a size? mine r a little snug at the top but i think breaking them in a little bit more will loosen them up and make them fit perfectly, just a fyi)
The shoes were packed individually in its own dust bags. They look absolutely incredible and you can tell that they're made from exceptional leather. They look super cute and they feel very comfortable. The sizes are also ''true in size'' which is very practical. Initially I bought them in a different colour and later contacted the Customer Service Team if I could change the colour and they were more then helpful. They were so kind and sweet and they kept me informed about the whole process. I am beyond happy and satisfied with the shoes and I'm so happy I get to wear them in real life. Great job to the whole WoodChuckSato Team for doing an incredible job! Highly highly recommend <3
I absolutely love my Tabi flats!! I purchased the black pair and they are so comfortable and fit perfectly. I was a little nervous about sizing but I listened to what everyone said and followed the size chart. I am usually a 9/9.5 US women’s and I ordered the 41 and it fit perfectly. The leather is great quality and super soft. I can’t wait to wear them. I also love the grip on the soles which will make it easy to walk on slippery surfaces. Thank you so so much! :)

I wore my Woodchuck Sato Tabis for the first time today and wow, I am SO impressed! They are incredibly soft and comfortable straight out of the box. I was a little skeptical at first and expected I might get blisters or need to wear them in, but they were comfortable from the very first wear.

I’m usually a US 8.5 / EU 39, but after measuring my feet in centimetres, I went with an EU 40 based on the sizing guide on the Woodchuck Sato website. I’m so glad I did because the EU 40 fits perfectly.

First impression : nice quality and texture, comfortable shoes but you definitely need to « break them in » and be aware of blisters (specially behind the ankles).
